Freemasonry in Flint, North Wales

• Charity Buffet Dance •

Flint Lodge held a Charity Buffet Dance at the Armoury on Saturday 22nd October where Members and their Guests enjoyed an evening of dancing to the music of Paul Crofts.

Just over thirty Members and their Guests attended and enjoyed a superb buffet followed by a thoroughly enjoyable Social evening afterwards.

Our Treasurer, W.Bro Neil Schofield seemed particularly pleased with the outcome of the sale of Raffle Tickets after everyone present was deprived of their loose change.

All parties present enjoyed the dancing to the well-rehearsed music of Paul Croft which included that well known classic, much beloved by Les Dawson, where all the right notes were played - but not necessarily in the right order...

After an extremely close run contest (there was only the one contestant...!), the Tom Jones look-alike contest was justly won by W.Bro D. E. Jones - who even went to the expense of providing his own backing dancers.

In all, a great social evening which was thoroughly enjoyed by all - when's the next one...?
