Freemasonry in Flint, North Wales

• Flint Lodge Bistro Night •

On Saturday 19th February a small group of Flint Lodge members got together socially to see if a 'theme' evening was an acceptable alternative to our traditional social events.

Ce serveurs de soir prêts à vous servir

This evenings waiters ready to serve you...

Pictured from left to right, the evenings waiters were none other than W.Bro Dave Roberts, W.Bro Bert Bellis, Maitre d' W.Bro Neil Schofield and W.Bro Mel Evans.

The snug, next to the bar at the Armoury, was set out to emulate an intimate Bistro, complete with candles and a French menu. During the home-cooked meal, wine was served by our home-grown waiters, and a good evening was had by all.

W.Bro Harold Hughes really immersed himself in the part, and the event was so successful that no-one seemed to want to repair to the bar at the end of the evening, but stayed at their tables enjoying the conversation.

Much was learnt from the event, and it's possible that there will be a repeat of the format in the near future.

Thanks are due to W.Bro Neil Schofield amd W.Bro Mel Evans for organising such an excellent evening.

Well... They might have looked as if they enjoyed it !
